In the name of God Amen I Vestal Beeson being of sound mind and remembering that frailty of all flesh and my own particular martality constitute and ordain this my last will and testament as follows viz.... First, I bequeath to my beloved Wife Susannah theuse of and benefit of all my property both personal and Real after my decease during her widowhood or in case...he...she does not marry during her natural life three female Negro slaves which I have heretofore conveyed by deed of gift to my Sons William Beeson, Vestal Beeson Jr. and Claton Green Beeson one to each... Secondly, after the death of my wife Susanah or in case after death she marries at such time as she so married I will that my Daughter Salina Pearson have the sum of five Dollars that all the rest of my said estate both Real and personal be equally divided between my other children towit Locke Beeson, Henderson Beeson, Calvin J. Beeson, Milton Beeson, William Beeson, Vestal Beeson and Claton G. Beeson... Thirdly, this my desire that my Son Lock Beeson and Calvin J. Beeson be and they are hereby constitute my executors to carry into effect this my will and testament I Testimony I have hereunto affixed my seal and subscribed my name this 23th day of August 1838.
