Located in the far
northeast corner of the United States, Maine is the largest of the New England
states. It is bordered by New Hampshire, the Canadian provinces of
Quebec and New Brunswick, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Bay of Fundy.
The Maine peninsula, West Quoddy Head, is the easternmost land area of the
United States.
