KOPPARI
Nils (Nels) KOPPARI died in 1935 and is buried in Ontonagon Cemetery.  I am looking for any information on his death. He was one of the first Finnish people to work the Nonesuch Mine in Michigan. Jouay (posted March 3, 1997)

McPHAIL 
William John McPHAIL (born on Drummonds Island, MI in 1885), married Rowena PARCELS in Michigan on July 4,1911. Rowena was also from Michigan, having a sister Mrs. St. Onge and 3 brothers Edward, Henry and Richard Parcels. Her father Allen Parcels of Michigan was also alive at her death in 1940. OSBORN(E) 1852-1868 R.H. OSBORN physician for the first 9 years for several mines, then 6 years for the National Mining Company. Sons Frank b. abt 1857 and Willie K. b. 1862. They moved to Calumet in 1868 where R.H. worked as a physician for Calumet & Hecla Mining Company. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Bill Osborn (posted February 23, 1997)

Searching for: (1)birth record for Thomas F. Williams b. 19 Sept 1856, MI;  (2) Death certificate for Cornelius WILLIAMS, bap 1821, Cornwall, England; d. ca 1866, MI;  (3) marriage license for Mary Ann WILLIAMS (b. 1825, Cornwall, England; widow of Cornelius) and Thomas F. WILLIAMS, b. 1837 Cornwall, England married Nov, 1867 in MI. They were at one time in Rockland, Ontonagon County, but since discovered at least one child born in Kalamazoo, MI.
