1923 Commencement Program

Nebraska School of Agriculture

Curtis, Nebraska

The program was supplied by Glenda Argo of Norman, Oklahoma.

She says of the program:

It was mailed to Mr. and Mrs. Forrest A. Wolfe in 1923 when they were living in Cleveland Co., Oklahoma. Forrest Wolfe and his wife, Julia Ady-Wolfe movet to Indian Territory in 1906 before statehood. They were married in Wells Co., Indiana and had one daughter before they left and came to Oklahoma. Julia taught school in Wells Co. and also in Cleveland Co. Their daughter, and only child, was also a schoolteacher and she never married.

I suspect that Floyd A. Whipple could have been the son of some friends or relatives or perhaps a school chum of their daughter, Martha. I have no way of knowing and have many other avenues of research "closer to home". These people were not related to my family...just a bit of history that needed to be shared. I hope that you will choose to put it on the Frontier Co. site so that others may benefit.

Sincerely,
/S/ Glenda Argo

Thank you very much for your contribution to the Frontier County NEGenWeb site. Now that I have created a representation of the program I will donate it to the Frontier County Historical Society in Curtis, NE.
