William H. Ware Dead
William Henry Ware, a farmer and resident of Sequim for the past twelve
years, died suddenly of heart failure early on Saturday morning at his home
southwest of town. Mr. Ware was taken ill in the night and passed away in an
hour and twenty minutes, dying in the arms of his wife. A doctor had been
summoned but before he reached the house death had occurred. Deceased was born
in Massachusetts and was 42 years old lacking six days. He had lived in
Minnesota for a considerable period of his life and came from that state to
Washington in 1903. He was married here in 1908, and his wife and adopted
daughter survive him. He leaves also two brothers and a sister. His brother
Ernest of Valier, Montana, arrived on Monday to attend the funeral and make a
few days visit here. The funeral services took place at the residence of the
deceased on Monday morning, conducted by Rev. C. E. Fulmer of Port Angeles, and
burial was in the Sequim View cemetery. Mr. Ware was highly regarded by his
friends and neighbors in and around Sequim. He was a man of kindly disposition
and a fine character, upright and honorable in all his dealings with others, and
in every respect a good neighbor and citizen. His sudden and untimely death is
deeply regretted by his friends and acquaintances here.
