I am researching James BUZBY and
Dana Porter who resided near Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island. Buzby arrived
1853 from NJ via Illinois. His daughter married Dana PORTER of
Port Gamble who arrived from Wicassett, Maine. James BUZBY represented
the island in the territorial legislature when the territory recommended
the acquisition of Alaska. The family moved to Seattle and the son of James BUZBY, Issac BUZBY, was listed
as a volunteer firemen at the time of the Seattle Fire in 1889. These families
are listed in Kellogg's book. Any other information would be appreciated. |

and father (Alexander and Rodah KNAPP

after 1860. Perry H. Died in Polk Co., Ore in 1903. I know by old genealogy
