Danny Steinhoff

Munising - Services for Danny L. Steinhoff, 25 , of Mt. Vernon, Washington., a Munising native, will be held at 10 am tomorrow at the Bowerman Hallifax Funeral Home with Rev. Emil Beyer officiating.

Mr. Steinhoff died Sunday from injuries received in an accidental fall at home.

He was born July 8, 1950 in Munising and had lived most of his life there. Mr. Steinhoff moved to Mt. Vernon in November, 1974, where he was employed as a commercial fisherman.

A 1969 graduate of Mather High School, he had served in the United States Navy.

Surviving are his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Steinhoff, a grandfather Russel Steinhoff; a grandmother, Mrs. Evelyn Colbus all of Munising; two foster brothers, Floyd LaBrach of Lansing, Mich., and Lloyd Staples of Shingleton, Mich., and a foster niece, Tammy Staples, several aunts and uncles. Friends may call after 7 pm today at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Munising, Michigan.
